With so many deal sites in the world these days, I find it really difficult to keep up with what is on sale from day to day. Between Groupon, Gilt, Hautelook, RueLaLa, Living Social etc. I get quite overwhelmed by the constant stream of "sale" emails that hit my inbox each day. Thank God for Broke Girl's Guide. They post what's on sale on each of these sites every day and then add their own content on how all of us can "live large and spend small."
What is a Broke Girl?
A Broke Girl is someone who gets her favorite designers at 70% off, shops at thrift stores, knows the best off-the-radar joints in town, eats at the latest hot spots even on a dime, and doesn't need a boy to buy her cocktails.
I LOVE that! Don't you?
Why I love them: There are so many fun things to do in LA, but us twenty-somethings (and beyond) don't have tons of funds to drop on a different dinner out/happy hour every night. I love that their voice is young and fun and they really highlight some of the best (and still fun) ways to cut corners and do fun things without breaking the bank. And you can search by neighborhood in LA...I mean, could it be any easier?
Happy Wednesday everyone!
