My shopping problem has been getting worse and worse lately....seriously, the majority of my time is spent thinking about clothes and the business. Oops! What can I say...I am overly obsessed with clothes/style etc. At least I can admit it?
3 Things I'm loving this week:
1. Tank Top bodysuits: This is my favorite style secret. I bought two tank top body suits (one black and one white) from H&M (and they button at the bottom...so they are much easier to wear all day long). They seriously make all the difference in my outfits. I wear them under jeggings and sweaters/tops. It gives the same affect of wearing a tank top, but you don't have to deal with the tank coming untucked or making unflattering lines under your jeggings. The H&M ones are only $8 a piece but they don't sell them online. American Apparel sells them online but they are $26 Buy them here. They make everything fit better and each outfit look better from head to toe.
2. Bettini's Bikinis: Soo it's almost Spring Break time and all of my customers keep asking me who my favorite swimwear designer is. Luckily one of my friends, Bettina Bell, is an AMAZING swimwear designer...so I get great access to the best suits. I have followed Bettina's line, Bettinis since the beginning and she really makes some of the most unique and flattering suits. And good news for you, soon-to-be Spring Breakers, her suits are for sale on Hautelook for a discounted price today ($30 a piece!! Just like sample sale prices!) Visit their sale here. My favorites are the Itsy Stripe Bikini and the Tiff Bikini.
3. 100 Unforgettable Dresses, the book: My lovely older sister and brother in-law gave me this book for Christmas. As one of my interns pointed out, it is basically the perfect present for me. I was obsessed with this book from the moment I opened it. I re-visited it this week one night when I was up late and I was instantly inspired all over again. This book has some of my all time favorite dress moments (Carrie in SATC, Jackie Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana at her wedding etc.) and it goes into detail about how each of these dresses changed the face of fashion. Those of you that know me, know that I collect fashion books. I have a great collection so far, but I really think that this one is the best. Maybe it is because I am such a dress addict....Anywhoo, if you want to check it out, buy it on Amazon here.
Sidenote: All of these products in my "3 obsession" posts are not product plugs. They are actual items that I have used and fallen in love with and want to share with you.
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
